First time presenting poster! :-o

It's the first time I tried to submit for a conference outside of Malaysia - this time it's Bali, Indonesia.  It is also part of supporting my affiliation that is co-organisor of the IMCOM 2015.  At the last moment, it was informed that the paper was accepted for poster format instead of oral. (Oh dear...!)

Since I've made the slide for this paper, allow me to share it here...

Best Paper no.3, out of 4 nominations since 2009

Voila! Eventually I'm in the Top 10 list of KMers in Malaysia... in 2014. Well, if I can say so. Out of 30 papers nominated for best paper award this season, this paper is one of the 10 awarded.

Presented this last week, a few days before my convocation. Again, the conference duration is a rush... This time back-to-back with my convocation (and rehearsal and all sorts of preparation for the convo).

As declared during the presentation, "after manipulating, maneuvering, massaging, validating and topsy-turvy turn-around-and-back the data from my student's final year project, I came out with a model".  This is the slide presented at the Knowledge Management International Conference (KMICe) on 12-15 August 2014, in Langkawi, Malaysia.

Deploying stage.. no more 'emerging'

It was a rush... A day before my PhD viva voce, I had to present at this conference.  (The main reason why I totally forgot to update the presentation here after that!)

I think this paper is good, but to be presented at a world conference of science, I mean generally all kinds of science domain, may not be so suitable.  Below is the share of the presentation slide, for paper ID 196, presented at the 13th International Conference on APPLIED COMPUTER and APPLIED COMPUTATIONAL SCIENCE (ACACOS '14), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on April 23-25, 2014.

The 2nd National Conference

I was asked why I presented/published so many papers in a year - is it the quantity that I chased after?  Honestly speaking, I don't know...

But for this 'internal conference', I consider my participation as a 'donation', since I could manage to extract out the gist of my Chapter 7 thesis to make this paper.  This paper is one of the 4 types of validations I've had for my GUSC model.  Since my degree student helped out in collecting the data, I included her name as the second author. Have a look!

When ISDA came to town...

With an open heart, I welcomed ISDA by participating it with my paper. It's a paper I've promised to published, on the simulation of the multi-agent system using the concept of GUSC.  This paper include my agent programmer as the second author; he's currently doing his PhD in UniTEN.

I still don't believe that I managed to submit my final draft thesis between the 2 days of this 13th ISDA conference. Phew!!

My third ICRIIS

This is the third time in a row that I joined the bi-yearly conference organised by UTM (initially), IIUM (joint organiser since the 2nd ICRIIS) and UniTEN (the most recent joint organiser). The first introduction of the AoT concept applied with my GUSC model.  A paper presented in the midst of submitting my PhD final draft thesis, November 2013.

The second paper on the second day of CITA'13

This was the 9th submission to CITA'13, according to the submission system ID. A paper based on the data collected and analysed by my BCEM degree student in 2012.
