When ISDA came to town...

With an open heart, I welcomed ISDA by participating it with my paper. It's a paper I've promised to published, on the simulation of the multi-agent system using the concept of GUSC.  This paper include my agent programmer as the second author; he's currently doing his PhD in UniTEN.

I still don't believe that I managed to submit my final draft thesis between the 2 days of this 13th ISDA conference. Phew!!

My third ICRIIS

This is the third time in a row that I joined the bi-yearly conference organised by UTM (initially), IIUM (joint organiser since the 2nd ICRIIS) and UniTEN (the most recent joint organiser). The first introduction of the AoT concept applied with my GUSC model.  A paper presented in the midst of submitting my PhD final draft thesis, November 2013.

The second paper on the second day of CITA'13

This was the 9th submission to CITA'13, according to the submission system ID. A paper based on the data collected and analysed by my BCEM degree student in 2012.

One of the 7 nominated papers at CITA'13

Just came back from Kuching with my daughter, attending and presenting 2 papers at CITA'13. This first paper was presented on 2nd July 2013, after the opening ceremony. Questions were asked by the session chair from UniMAS, and a keynote speaker from Google Inc., Patrick Larvie.
* This presentation may look a bit out of its proper shape, because of the loss of fonts in Google Doc. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

The final conference perhaps,

Finally got this one out!

Finally got this paper published in the proceedings.  It was aborted last year from the WASET conference in Bali, Indonesia.  I didn't present this paper, because I believe that the audience are not the right target for me to get good reviews.  At least we've made it out to the world with the proceedings and hopefully some chance for journal publication, next...

This is the second paper I have for this conference, but the proceedings was with error on the second author's name.  Kindly find the copy of the slide, for my presentation at WASET International Conference on Knowledge Management (ICKM 2013), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 15th February 2013.

The presentation with error...

It was the conference I longed to participate since 2009 - ICKM - thinking that it would be very much on knowledge management.  To my disappointment, it was more on science, engineering and technology, and I was the only one on pure KM.  None of the audience (that I could detect) are KMers...

Demotivated from presenting for the wrong audience,

Last priority, last-minute preparation, first to present

It was a hectic week, and the only time I had to prepare the slides was after midnight, about 7 hours before the presentation time.  All I managed to do was copying all diagrams and the important paragraphs from chapters without diagrams over into the slides.  The presentation was a total babble, which I managed to present within stipulated time.  Thank you God, for making this easy for me...

Kindly find the copy of the slide, for my presentation at WASET International Conference on Information and Knowledge Society (ICIKS 2012), Penang, Malaysia, on 7th December 2012.

Babble without a cause?
